In order to run the updates for your WordPress website,
on your dashboard, hover over Dashboard, and click on Updates
If you aren’t on the newest version, click on the Update Now
button to update to the newest version of WordPress
Once WordPress is updated, hover over
Dashboard again, and click on Updates
Check the box next to Select All to select all Plugins that need an update,
then, click Update Plugins
As each plugin updates, WordPress will let you know which
ones are in progress and which ones are complete
When finished, click
Return to WordPress Updates
Check Select All to select all themes that
need to be updated, and click Update Themes
When fully up to date, the Updates screen should have no update options on it.
